Seashell Searching

My Boy
Told was a great day. We first went to the beach. What a trip that was. We decided to bring the stroller with us and little did we know that the water was much further away than we assumed so... we were left carrying the stroller with Warren in it. Sophie had a blast. She really had to warm up to the sand but once she finally decided to try it, she did an awesome job. Warren fell fast asleep when we were down there. Sophie and I ran around outside of the Santa Monica Peer chasing birds for quite some time. She was quite fascinated with that and all the seashell she could find. We went to find pirate treasures and found a deflated balloon that filled in as our pirates treasures. Oh the things it takes to please kids. Then we made our hike back up to the boardwalk.
Tonight, we went to a wonderful supper. If this is work... I don't know what play is because I really don't feel like I'm "working" much as a nanny. Besides, I got in the freezing cold pool this afternoon with Sophie to swim. She is such a swimmer. But, once it warmed up, no problem. Dessa said, "You are the nanny!" :) We had a good laugh about it. I really hope I'm helping her out. I just love her kids so much that it's tough to not want to be around them.
After supper, I went down to the Shutters On The Beach lounge and listened to a DJ and a famous drink mixer for a little bit. Took a couple of pictures of pictures of the sunset, ordered some dessert for room service, and went to bed. GOOD DAY!
