Oh the street dances

I attended the annual Newcastle street dance last night. My oh My! Not much has changed. It was actually quite fun. As hard as it's been for me to be plopped back into Newcastle with not much to look forward to, I really enjoyed myself. I saw people that I haven't seen since high school and it was great to say hello. The only thing I CAN NOT stand are people that don't have the guts to say hi that you hung out with for years and years. I mean, really? Are we still 16? Here's the part that gets me, this particular person asked to be my friend on Facebook not too long ago but doesn't say hi in person. Still the same politics in a small town. Now, I wouldn't be able to complain about this if I wouldn't have tried to say hi either but I did! So, I am proud to say that I broke the mold.
